The range printed on your frame is out of date. Wilson still prints 50–60 lb on many models. The game has changed: strings, swing speeds and frames are not what they were when those numbers were set. What follows is what we actually string in 2026.

2. What are you stringing with?The biggest factor of all. Multifilament is about 30 % more elastic than monofilament — so it goes up, not down.
